On April 13, 2016, MIMIPARK was founded in Hangzhou, China.
The founder remembers that date clearly — not for any special occasion, but because a close friend spent the entire day with red, irritated eyes after wearing ill-fitting colored contacts.
"Why should colored contacts ever force you to choose between looking good and feeling comfortable?"
That question became the founding principle of MIMIPARK.
Born from a Problem
Before MIMIPARK existed, the colored contact lens market was essentially divided into two camps:
· The pretty ones — vibrant designs and rich color patterns, but made with ordinary materials that left eyes dry and irritated after hours of wear.
· The comfortable ones — quality materials, but conservative designs that barely made a difference in appearance.
The founder herself has sensitive eyes. After trying over a dozen brands, she kept running into the same frustrating reality: the ones that felt good didn't look good enough; the ones that looked good didn't feel good enough.
That's when she started to wonder — what if she built something that didn't make you choose?
And so, MIMIPARK was born.
Our Core Commitment: Color Without Compromise
MIMIPARK's very first product decision was to reject ordinary lens materials entirely — every lens in our lineup is made with non-ionic material.
The key advantage of non-ionic material is its resistance to protein deposit buildup from tear fluid. This means the lens surface stays cleaner and smoother throughout the day, significantly reducing the sensation of dryness and foreign body discomfort.
MIMIPARK lenses are formulated with a 38% water content — a figure arrived at through extensive testing. It's the sweet spot: soft and form-fitting against the eye, without being so high in moisture that the lens starts drawing water away from your eyes instead.
Simply put: MIMIPARK lenses don't compete with your eyes for hydration.
Eight Years in the Making,Now Going Global
From 2016 to 2024, MIMIPARK spent eight years building product expertise and earning customer trust in the Chinese market. What began with just a handful of designs has grown into a full collection spanning natural, mixed-heritage, and anime-inspired styles.
But one principle has never changed: every new design must pass a real-world sensitive eye test before it goes anywhere near a shelf.
Every new MIMIPARK lens is worn by at least 50 sensitive-eye users for 8 hours or more. Feedback is collected, parameters are adjusted, and only once comfort standards are met does the product officially launch.
In 2026, MIMIPARK took its next step — entering Southeast Asia.
The choice was deliberate. Southeast Asia's hot and humid climate places higher demands on lens comfort, and that's exactly where MIMIPARK excels. Eight years of validation in the Chinese market gave us the confidence to bring the same comfortable, beautiful wearing experience to users across the region.

The name MIMIPARK is a combination of two words:

· PARK — a place where you can stay a while
